Rooms are comfortable and sizable for NY. Plenty of free parking, less than 10 minutes from JFK/Federal Circle if there's no traffic and you don't get lost in the JFK mess. Lobby quite lovely and spacious.

If you have business or tourism in the city, you will have to stay someplace closer and more expensive.

Room Tip: Upper floor rooms were plenty quiet.

From shuttle pickup at JFK to check out, the service was outstanding. The rooms very clean and attractive, as well as comfortable.
The staff in the breakfast room, Trechianna and Margarita were really on top of everything and did it with grace and smiles. This is rare in most places.

Upon arrival I found I had inadvertently set an arrival date for Saturday rather than Sunday. YOung lady at the front desk discovered the error and proceeded to not only provide a room for the four days at the booked rate, but also went to the Manager and explained the situation. As a result, the Manager decided not to charge the "no show" for missing Saturday night. This courtesy was done at the young lady at the desk before I had time to tink about the issue. Score 10 on the service ranking.

Shuttle to and from airport was very convenient in using the Airtran connection to the New York subway.

Room was clean, comfortable and very quite.

All and all, a great stay. When the staff takesthe initiative to help recover from my own screw-up, it sets things in motion for a great experience.

So thanks for the considreations shown to me on my trip.

Very convenient hotel with great employees! Amereca and Amanda were so helpful and kind. They went out of there way to help me straighten out a problem with my reservation. I will definitely go back to this hotel.

I had a pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn and was greeted by friendly staff at the front desk. I also used the free shuttle bus from the hotel to Federal Circle, then on the train into the city. The shuttle bus drivers were always friendly and the service was quick, and I never had to wait for the shuttle bus during my trips back and forth.

There's also free WiFi at the hotel, as well as complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was quite good! The fruits were fresh, and there was a good variety of things. They also offered a breakfast-on-the-go goody bag, which was very convenient.

The room was also quite comfortable, and the duvets were very clean. The rooms were also very quiet and soundproof.

The downside was that there were no restaurants at the hotel. However, they're affiliated with the hotels next door, and there were take-out menus available at the front desk. Though, it was a bit of a problem when I got a little bit hungry later on at night and just wanted a small bite to eat.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay at JFK.

Thank you for making all these great points in regard to our location, our services and the wonderful staff. We are a limited service property and as we adhere to the Hampton Inn - brand standards and in our efforts to maintain our competitive rates we do not have a full service restaurant, we do serve a complimentary breakfast daily. However the HIlton that is connected to us offers lunch and dinner and our guest are welcome to utilize their restaurant.

Love Hampton Inns, they are clean and the beds, pillows, etc are wonderful. Alex P. was tending to the breakfast area with speed to be sure it was well-stocked for the guests -- they never ran out of food even though there were lots of guests. All of the employees were great and met us each time with a smile.

My friend and I have just completed a tour of the East Coast that included multiple cities and hotels over the course of 6 days. The Hampton Inn NY - JFK by far, provided us with the best service. It started on the first day before the tour even began when the tour company mishandled our reservation. We showed up at the hotel with no reservation at 9:00 PM to a completely booked hotel.
Amanda at the front desked worked with the night manager until they managed to find us two rooms. Let me tell you it wasn't easy. They could have easily sent us next door to the Hilton where we'd have paid significantly more but they didn't. The next morning we asked for a cab to take us to Tribeca and they arranged for a town car. Much nicer than a cab and not any more expensive. Then off to our trip. The last night of our trip we realized it would be easier for us and two other tour members to depart our small airport on Long Island and come directly to the Hampton Inn rather than remain with our tour group and go first to Tribeca and then make our way to JFK. I called the Hampton Inn, talked to Trudy and asked if they could arrange for the town car to pick us up in Long Island. She did. Different car and different driver, but again, it was all very professionaly done. When we arrived back at the Hampton Inn, Amanda at the front desk rememberd our names and our room preferences and even later, because our departure from the hotel was very early, brought us a "breakfast to go" bag because their complementary breakfast begins after we'd be gone. In every way, they went above and beyond to take care of us. Unbelievably good service and nothing at any of the high end hotels during our tour compared to how we were treated here.
