“Bad experience”

We arrived late and jetlagged, to find out that all the elevators were not working. They had staff who were lugging people's baggage up the stairs to their rooms (we stayed on 11th floor -- that means 11 flights one way!), but they poor men were exhausted so we helped them take up our luggage. We hadn't eaten, and were starving, but they said room service was closed because of the elevator situation. The bistro was also closed, and refused to serve us because by the time we hauled our luggage up it was apparently too late. There were no accomodations made whatsoever, not even the offer of a free coffee or snack. The elevators were still broken the next morning. I understand that "things happen", but it would have helped a lot to have some sort of credit or break due to the circumstances. The rooms were also a bit noisy, with freeways on all sides of the hotel. I am used to staying at the Marriott Newark, which is a million times better than this hotel.

Room Tip: Get a high floor (assuming the elevators are working), to try to reduce freeway noise.

Older, but well maintained property about 2 miles from JFK. Booked 6 months ahead on Marriott website and prepaid almost $350.00 to get the 'best price guarantee' for a standard room. Found the same room for $229.00 on the same website the day before we arrived and inquired about the 'best price' policy and was told that it was the best price 'at the time of booking.' Was told by hotel that no upgrade was available yet still found suite 'available' on website. Just left a bad taste in my mouth. The room was smallish but clean with a comfortable bed. The shuttle service was prompt coming and going. The bistro ,suspiciously, was serving a hot breakfast yet had absolutely NO smell of any cooking food... Just fine for what it is...

Coming in from a long and exhausting trip the courtyard by marriott shuttle was late and didn't pick me until an hour later. When I finally got there the front desk clerk Adam was extremely RUDE ! Although the room was very clean and newly renovated. The bristro was very expensive and horrible.I've been staying at Marriott's around the world but this is far most the worst I have ever experienced. Clearly the management and staff need more training. I wouldn't ever recommend this hotel for any business traveler!!!!!

Don't usually like sleeping overnight but this was perfect. They don't have AC in room in winter obviously but shut of heat and fan and it's great. Great service at bistro and check in was quick and courteous. Fell alsleep w ease. Def a visit for relaxation and great soft bed that offers great support.

This is our layover hotel for our Flight from SFO to JFK....

The room are very clean, the staff is professional and friendly. All the van drivers are friendly and very helpful, and are always on time for pickup to the airport or from the airport...

The room have been redone and are very comfortable and very clean..

The front desk staff are very professional and friendly...the same for the individual who work the bistro area.

Room Tip: Nice and close to JFK airport.

My family and I stayed here in Oct. of 2013. The hotel is very nice and up to date. The decor was amazing and the beds were comfortable. My sister in law works for a very big company so she was able to get us a room for FREE! I'm glad she did cause this place is a little on the expensive size but hey it is in NY so you will be paying a arm and a leg for it. The only downside to this hotel was NO PARKING so you had to find something on the street. It was very close to the airport too. We could see it out our window. I would stay here again if the price is right or my sister in law hooks us up again LOL.

I found this hotel very nice, well appointed with fantastic staff and good food in the bistro. If you have business near the airport I highly recommend this hotel. It is safe, clean and nicely appointed!!
