When they opened, the food was great and Sangam finally had competition. We loved going to Mehak practically weekly for the buffet. Now I feel that they are slipping. The lunch buffet was poor (in taste) with everything tasting pretty much the same. Dinner was expensive but just tasted bleh. I am sorry to see them slipping and now I keep hearing that Sangam has upped their game! Maybe its time to switch back.

Very expensive good quality Indian food. Decor is dated with embedded Indian oily smell. I ordered Aloo Gobhi, Palak Paneer and Daal - with rotis- had requested very less oil - surprisingly enough the food was very good. Portions are OK - little on the less side

The food was good but the service was not that customer friendly. I have ate into a lot of indian restaurants all over US but this was a little highly prices. They did not serve pappadum/chutney for free as 99.99% of restaurants too. We asked for sliced onions which are always free and when I got the check, they charged $1.59 for them. There are some other indian restaurants pretty close to them so would be worth trying out there too.

Overall good & tasty food but the prices and service can be better.

We've been here twice (a couple months apart) at lunch, when they do the "Indian Buffet" thing.

Selection is nice but not too lavish. Several chicken or beef based dishes, a number of vegetarian items, bread, and some outstanding deserts. The quality is truly outstanding! No wimpy butter chicken but a number of far more interesting selections.

The last time they had an unusual, for an Indian restaurant, beet and potato dish that was a real knockout. The chicken masala tiki was outstanding as well.

A local shopkeeper also suggested another Indian restaurant just a few doors away as being good also. What a delicious choice for college town! We'll try the other one next time although it will be tough to walk b=past Mehak to get there.

We went to Mehak for dinner and we were not disappointed! The food is excellent and decor is ok. The location is very convinient if you are visiting Cornell. Don't forget to try their parathas (hand made Indian bread)! Very tasty indeed and probably a bit healthier than Naan (of course rotis are a better option if you are health conscious).
