We stopped in late on a Saturday afternoon in January just to check out this new restaurant in town. It wasn't yet close to dinner time and the place wasn't really very busy, but even so it took a little longer than I thought it should--I'm guessing more than ten minutes from the time we finished ordering--for our one sandwich and fries to be ready.
The BBQ brisket sandwich was very tasty. We had a selection of different BBQ sauces to choose from and the server who handed us the food offered us extra sauce in small containers. They also had cut the sandwich into two halves and split the fries for us, serving us one entree in two baskets as they realized we were sharing it. I thought this was a nice touch.
The fries were also very good and it was a large portion of fries. I wouldn't say the brisket sandwich was a particularly large portion, but it wasn't small either. For this restaurant to have earned five stars from me the service would have had to have been a little faster and the prices either would have had to have been just a little lower or the size of the sandwich would have had to have been just a little larger. The food quality was definitely worthy of five stars, and we'll almost certainly visit again.
