We drive campus twice. Enjoyed the layout, student interactions and building architecture at campus. Campus has its own town area and shops. On hill over Ithaca, the view is very good. An expensive school.

Cornell University is one of the best universities in the world. A leader in research and enjoys strong progressive leadership. Set on a hill, it enjoys spectacular views over Cayuga falls and Beebe Lake. Exceptional commitment to access and diversity with multiple outreach programs. Outstanding sports facilities. Ithaca is a great university town and the surrounding areas are replete with wineries and breathtaking natural features.

World class research and genuine commitment to students.

Full disclosure: I was a Visiting Fellow at Cornell in Fall 2017.

G-children ready to apply in a few years after taking the tour. Buildings of all periods are well designed. Walks numerous. The bell concert is great and some took the tower overlook. Sage Chapel is exceptional and the wedding there could not have been better. Some family had ice cream at The Creamery and couldn't praise it enough. Cornell is beautiful and we liked Ithaca.

Not only is Cornell a beautiful campus, the surrounding areas in the Finger Lakes region are remarkably wonderful to visit. Don't forget to take advantage of the many fine restaurants, wineries, breweries and cideries in the area.

Definitely a hidden treasure right in the middle of campus; 10-12 waterfalls all along this beautiful gorge (down down down we went).. then we had to go up , up , up to get back (552 steps), Loved it!
