Cornell is one of the most beautiful campuses I have ever been to. There are waterfalls everywhere, unique buildings, and one of the most beautiful libraries I have ever been to!

We went on the campus tour and the engineering tour. Overall, the presentations were good. The engineering one was better than the general one.

Campus is beautiful. But it’s also big so it’s a lot of walking.

We parked off campus ($1/hour) and walked to the Cornell campus. The campus is large, beautiful scenery and old buildings with interesting architecture. We really enjoyed seeing Cornell.

We went to this campus to visit our daughter. I was amazed how nice it was. And was especially impressed by the gorges in the middle of campus... Very neat.... All of the facilities appeared to be very well cared for.

My nephew works as an electrician there and it amazes me the work he does on the cyclotron. He makes himself available to take us there with his daughter and spouse.

We enjoyed a campus tour - but also some lesser known spots. Went to the top of the bell tower during chimes concert - met a chimes master and saw her play the chimes (so cool!). Also awesome views from the top of the tower! Uris Library - awesome Harry Potter-like area! Enjoyed watching a soccer game - and the lines at Cornell Dairy were still worth it!

We delighted in this lovely University which is set high above Ithaca. There are lots of old buildings set amongst beautiful lawns and gardens.

Nearby Collegetown has many places to stop for lunch and there are many parking lots/garages to park near and oncampus. The campus is huge and not easily covered by foot so plan on parking in different areas. Most of the entire Campus sits on a mountaintop - so expect some walking up the many hills. There are many gorgeous waterfalls(more than 1 dozen) on and around the campus as this area is like the waterfall capital of the USA. Be forewarned about street parking with meters though, as hiking along the waterfall trails such as cascades will likely earn you an expired meter ticket.
Not to be missed are the beautiful churches, art museum, botanical gardens, beautiful lake and river views if there in Autumn, the bell tower library, and the historic White house. Hotels in the area are abundant, and some of the grocery stores are on par with the argest you will find anywhere.

I was blown away by the natural beauty amidst an Ivy League campus. A tour is highly recommended to obtain more specific knowledge about the university. Abby ‘19 provided an excellent walking tour and overview of the Cornell life, academics and culture. I was delighted to learn that most students gain work experience and employment development prior to graduation. The aforementioned are just a few reasons to love Cornell!!
