The food is well cooked but the service and the ambiance were seriously grating. Indifferent waiter, a middle aged man, who clearly was not enthusiastic about performing his duties, was just the beginning. He was asked to clean the table from the crumbs twice (because he did not react the first time). At the second attempt to make him do what he was supposed to be doing without any prompting, he responded grumpily, I heard you the first time. I do not think I am coming to dine out in order to deal with people who act as sulky teenagers.. The menu printed on a cheap sheet of paper was presented stained by a hurried waitress en route somewhere else. A request for a cappuccino was acknowledged but never acted upon. A couple of friends asked for two of the same desserts. Only one dessert materialized and no explanations for the other MIA dessert was offered. In short, I am not coming again. Seriously, restaurant business is a cutthroat business and Ithaca, despite being a small town, has other dining options. The place is overrated, noisy and rude. I give it three stars because the food itself is okay.
