We were just staying the night in Ithaca and decided to try this restaurant on the basis of some TA reviews. We were not disappointed. The only problem could have been if we hadn't been able to get in without a long wait on a Thursday evening. Luckily, we were seated right away, but it got very crowded as the night progressed. The attraction is tapas, and the menu is varied. We ordered about four items apiece to share, and they came out in pairs or groups - depending on what we ordered. The flatbread was basically a small pizza that could have been a meal by itself for $6. The spicy shrimp were a hit, and everything on the menu was it equal. Desserts were fabulous, and lots of good, reasonably-priced wine.

Just a Taste is one of Ithaca's most popular dining spots, and with good reason. It's incredibly affordable, and the food and wine are consistently good. The overall menu doesn't change too frequently, but that's okay because it's easy to know what to order. Don't miss the freshly made foccacia bread with roasted garlic and olive oil or the russet potato wedges with chipotle aioli. When the brussels sprouts are in season, they're also well worth a try. The only downside is that they don't take reservations and it gets crazy busy, so arriving when it opens is a good tactic if you're dying to eat there.

You can't go wrong stopping by Just a Taste. You order small portions and share them with others at your table. The wine flights from the region and from abroad are an incredible way to spend the evening! Prices aren't bad either!
