Great stop between dinner and bars. Interesting visitors and they provide the entertainment. Good prices and great lattes.

“great place to hang out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

The food is good though somewhat overpriced. The restaurant side has great decor and good atmosphere. The cafe side is cozy and a great place to study and stay for hours. Their hot drinks are delicious. The half-price burgers before 6 are an amazing deal.

“Poor Service/Small Portions/Overpriced”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

I was attracted by the creative menu and the emphasis on 'local' ingredients. Went on a Saturday night early around 5:30PM since I was meeting friends later. Even with very few people in the restaurant only about 2 other tables; it took over an hour to get served!!! Was given a small bowl of fairly tasteless soup and lots of apologies (your food will be right out) as a consolation; but no explanation. Should have walked out, but needed to meet friends for a movie. Ordered the Atlantic Salmon for $21.00. (Maybe they went out and bought it while I was waiting.) It was too salty and served over a VERY small portion of greens with a few walnuts and raisins. One of the least impressive meals I have ever had for the price. Not impressed with this restaurant and will not go back when in Ithaca.

“Fancy...........”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2012

I visited this restaurant Cornell Graduation Weekend with my daughter and her boyfriend. My daughter had made reservations, and had to put down a deposit to guarentee them; I'm guessing due the graduations.

Food? Okay, but nothing stands out. They made marvelious martini's though, and I am not a drinker. Service was very attentive.

I wasn't thrilled that we were told that we were limited to a set amount of time to dine, due to crush of diners, but the time was not enforced, and we ate a leisurely dinner.

“Great find!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2012

Chose this place because I was with a vegetarian and found the listing on a website. However, veg or not, it's worth going to this funky place. There's a coffeehouse on the left and a restaurant on the right. Restaurant food was creative and delicious, wine and cocktails also creative (and local), desserts creative and really good. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely be there a lot. Service was slow, but the restaurant was full. Great decor and ambiance.
