I reluctantly gave a rating of 3, almost gave 2, used to be a 5. I have been eating here regularly for over 15 years. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Something has happened over the past year which has caused the quality and consistency of the restaurant to go down hill. There was a distinct change at one point when much of the long time staff were gone, new "temporary" menus were printed and our favorite menu items began to fluctuate between being poorly made and o.k. Some times I get a particular pasta dish. I've ordered itseveral times since last summer. It used to be fantastic, now it often comes with the pasta overcooked and it a bowl sitting in a pool of water & olive oil, with very little of the toppings its suppose to have, and about half the amount of chicken as before. I've had to ask them to fix it. I kept hoping, but not ordering this again. Other problems now: the pita bread is often hard & dry, the moussaka & chicken veggie soup have become pretty inconsistent, the falafel are sometimes burned. The chicken souvlaki and souvlaki plate are still pretty good. Even when it's not at all busy, the service has become fairly unattentive, & slow. The kitchen staff are often not taking time when plating the food. Overall there just doesn't seem to be good management and pride in providing a good dining experience like they did for the previous 20+ years. What a shame. We don't go very often any more.
