My wife and I went up for a weekend stay in early August and are very happy we picked this property. We wanted to be reasonably close to Ithaca, but stay somewhere that was unique and felt a bit rural. Well this place was exactly that. The property itself is enormous and beautiful - we had a great time exploring and trying not to scare away the deer (unsuccessful). The actual rooms were huge, and its clear that Michael put a lot of effort into making the place top of the line. The bathrooms and the mattress were noticeably fancy. All of the random items and decorative touches in the main rooms really added to the charm of the place. Lastly, Michael was a great host. My wife and I both really enjoyed talking to him during breakfast. We'll definitely be back.

Room Tip: Stayed in Gables room. Recommended.

Room Tip: I stayed in the Zebra room and it was awesome; super comfortable.

My husband and I stayed at Michaels private hotel for 2 nights, 2 weekends ago. I booked the blue room: it was AMAZING: eclectic art, 2 guitars and all kinds of interesting items and antiques decorate this custom built, super clean, gorgeous room. Not to mention the whole property, house and people. When I planned our trip, I didn't really think that the hotel would be a big part of the experience, but it was a huge part of it, we almost didn't want to leave the property to have dinner :) We had such a wonderful time staying there, from the room and property, to breakfast (we are not vegan, we had delicious omelets as an entre in addition to fresh fruit, oatmeal, toast, potatoes and delicious coffee) , to Michael and Priscilla, who are the friendliest most interesting hosts you will meet. If you are into a unique experience you should stay here.

We chose to stay in this hotel while visiting Finger Lakes wineries. It was comfortable, furnished with eclectic décor and art. Michael and his team prepared outstanding food and went out of their way to be accommodating and informative. A wonderful experience!

Michael and his team are the most cordial, warm, and wonderful hosts! Truly making you feel home away from home!

We stayed with Michael while we were moving our "Lonely Only" into Cornell for her Freshman Year! Michael and his staff's kindness and warmth made dropping our baby off into the big, bad world so much easier! We know where we will stay several times a year over the next four years!!!!

Bravo and well done, Michael!

My girlfriend and I spent a wonderful couple of nights at this hotel and I must say it was well worth the experience.
The rooms are exquisite and fascinating. The food delicious. The hosts themselves are a pleasure to be around.
You'll love the place, well worth a visit or two :-)

Just returned from a one night stay. Can't say anymore than what's already been said in all the past reviews. Hard to believe, but they are actually true. Only negative, and I mean only, is if you are staying in the Red room in the barn, you will hear the plumbing and footsteps from the rooms above..
