By far the best live theatre in a fifty mile radius. Syracuse Stage may be better depending on the performance.

Although we enjoyed our first outing to the Hangar Theatre we did not have a totally wonderful experience. The seating is very tight. Not only tight from side to side but it is cramping for the legs also. I thought it was just me because of my "large" stature but my wife, who is 5'5 and average build was also quite cramped. We were also uncomfortably warm during the performance. We did sit in the top row but noticed other folks fanning themselves. I personally feel that if we are to pay the going price for theatre seats we should be comfortable. Again, we enjoyed the performance...not the amenities.

Please be sure to correct the name of this theater. Great shows for children during the summer. Affordable ticket prices and enjoyable shows.

I've seen more than 40 shows at the Hangar over a decade. I've seen "Man of Lamancha," "Cats," "Hair," "The Wiz," "Carousel," "Of Mice and Men," and more. All great productions.
