“Johnson Museum of Art”
Reviewed August 15, 2014

Whenever we have out of state visitors we plan a trip to the Johnson Museum of Art in Ithaca NY.
The museum is child and senior friendly, the collection is varied and there is something for everyone to enjoy.

“So many famous artists”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

I would never have guessed there would be so many famous artists represented at a museum in Ithaca, NY.

Something I haven't seen before is there were drawers you could open to view smaller items such as coins, and then there was an Ipad where you could click on the item number and read about the items you want. Very cool! Enjoyed seeing coins mentioned in the bible!!

“Yoga and Art”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

I was there to attend a yoga class with an art theme. I though it was unique. Because they were preparing for new exhibits, a piece of artwork was chosen for us and we practiced yoga on the 6th floor with an amazing view of the campus. Great idea to bring art lovers in with a health twist!

“Small”
Reviewed July 11, 2014 via mobile

Small collection, mostly Asian in content. Small collection in a small building, great views from 5 floor. Half of the museum was closed off, elevators out of order, parking was limited at best. If your a huge fan, go, otherwise there are other things to do. Located right on campus of Cornell.

“Great views”
Reviewed June 30, 2014 via mobile

Arts not bad but views are amazing. Don't miss the big bench/light outdoor exhibit on the 2nd floor. Room in lower level with a slightly strange collection of artifacts. Worth the free admission.
