“Modern Gallery with Stupendous Panoramic Views”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

A bit difficult to find but well worth the effort. Allow a couple of hours as there is a lot to see and enjoy. The views from the top floor are works of art in themselves. We were a bit disappointed to have to pay metered parking. Hint – make sure that you have lots of quarters.

“great place to see”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

This museum has some fascinating 'shows', some spectacular permanent pieces and a view on the upper floors to die for! Parking is just a little bit of a problem. However, I would highly recommend it for a visit, especially with visitors from out of town.

“Little gem”

Even if you only have an hour ... it is worth a visit to see the art and take in the amazing view of campus and the lake.

“Small treasure on Cornell University campus”
Reviewed May 20, 2012

We were in Ithaca for a family event over Mother's Day weekend but had Sunday morning free and decided to visit the museum of art at Cornell. Interesting exhibits across all media and periods. The museum is housed in an I.M. Pei building with all-around fabulous views from the 5th floor. It was easy to find on the campus and metered parking is immediately adjacent to the museum. We understand that campus security vigorously polices the meters but parking is free on the weekends and on Mother's Day morning we practically had the place to ourselves. The museum is also directly across the street from a woodland path and bridge across one of Cornell's famous gorges. Makes a perfect place to spend a couple of hours. Worth a trip!

“many floors of interesting artwork”
Reviewed May 20, 2012

sometimes, travelling displays...always something at every nook and cranny and floor...the architecture of the building alone, makes for a great visit. The view of the area is superb from upstairs in this building!
