Our experience was excellent. Had never been here before. It was recommended by a friend. Our waitress, Beth, was professional and knowledgeable about the menu items. She was attentive and very responsive. Our meal came very quickly. The manager, Bill, introduced himself and we told him to please pass on to the chef that our meals were excellent.

Wood-fired pizzas are great. They're fairly small, so would recommend sharing with another person only if filling out the meal with appetizers, salad and dessert. Based on the portion sizes of what I've gotten of other dishes over the past few months, it's definitely suited more towards the smaller appetite. Service was very slow when refilling drinks and the check was placed on the table before asking if we wanted dessert. Had to wait for a table because there were several empty tables that still needed to be cleared. Very nice relaxed and cozy atmosphere.

We recently visiting Ciao based on the reviews from Trip Advisor and influenced by our natural love of pizza. The drive was a little farther our than we expected, but it wasn't anything unreasonable. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. The service was very friendly, and the bread with dipping oil was delicious - even my most picky ate it (my husband). We ordered two pizzas, one plain and one pepperoni, and this fed three of us. I've read some of the reviews about the expense of the meals, but for pizza, we really didn't find it over priced. We would definitely return.

We have eaten there several times and each time we have been there we have had a good meal. Our only negative remark would be that they could serve larger portions. Too get there you have too have a motor vehicle since it is located a few miles out of the city. It is owned by the same individual who also owns the Boatyard restaurant located on the inlet in Ithaca. If you enjoy Italian food then this is the place to eat in Ithaca, New York. The prices are reasonable and all the servers are pleasant. One of the restaurants in the Ithaca area that individuals should visit. If you do you will enjoy a pleasant meal and great atmosphere!
