My husband and I visited Cayuga Lake for his 40th birthday. The weekend getaway started with the Luscious Libations tour in Ithaca. We were lucky in that no one else signed up for that day and were treated to a private tour from Rachel. All three stops were wonderful especially Six Mike Creek Winery and our host there Will.the apricot beer at Ithaca Brewerey was also tops. It was fun to learn about the area and winery and brewery industries. Rachel was a delight. I highly recommend this tour and hope to try another of their offerings.

Myself and 8 friends booked the girls weekend get away package and had a great time! We stayed at La Tourelle, had breakfast both days at the Bistro, did the wine tour (with a great tour guide), had spa credits and credits for local restaurants. The entire experience was great and I would recommend it to anyone!

The tour guide was great and very enthusiastic in what she was doing. For the weather we had (cold and rainy) she her best to make our trip memorable. I enjoyed the history of Ithaca and getting to know Cornell. The group I went with also enjoyed very much the history of Cornell. We were all glad to see the guide provided snacks and a cool water bottle. After speaking with everyone in our group, we would love to come back and see what else we missed out on because of the weather. Great Job guys!

My boyfriend booked this at a valentines/birthday weekend in Ithaca and we went on the liquors, beer and wine your around Seneca Lake. Our tour guide, Rachel, picked us up at our hotel (La Tourell) right on time and was so nice and excited to show us around. We picked up a few more people at the Holiday Inn and then began the journey to a distillery, 2 wineries and a brewing company. Along the way we learned facts about the FInger Lakes and at each stop they taught us about the ins and outs of making wine, beer and liquor. Even got a tour of the Finger Lakes Distilling company! The van was a bit tight, but they provided complimentary snacks and water bottles! We also got pamphlets about each stop we made which was great! Even in the winter this tour is really worth it!

Thanks so much for the review! We love our winter tours as the slower pace gives us the opportunity to really show off our awesome partners on the wine trail. YES! The wineries, breweries and distilleries in the beautiful Finger Lakes are open year round, and so are we, so if you really want an intimate wine experience in the Finger Lakes do some winter touring - you will love it!

My friends and I took the Cayuga Wine Trail West tour this past weekend and enjoyed it immensely. Laura, the owner and our tour guide, is really on top of her game. Water bottles and snacks were supplied on the van to keep her guests happy and hydrated as we traveled from winery to winery. She kept us all entertained with a trivia game for the 40-minute drive from Ithaca to the first winery. The time flew by, and it gave all of the 13 guests on the van (comprised of four separate groups) a chance to get to know one another. Laura has a knack for putting her guests at ease -- by the time we arrived at the first winery, we didn't feel like we were on the tour with a bunch of strangers.

We traveled to four separate wineries, and we were able to learn something new at each one. Laura knows her wine, and clearly has great relationships with the proprietors. She labeled and collected our purchases at each stop, so we weren't forced to lug bottles of wine with us as we went along. The food pairings were interesting, and she gave us all some great ideas for our Thanksgiving celebrations.

The nicest part is really being able to relax and enjoy the scenery, not worrying about driving or navigating the winding country roads. As I mentioned, there were 13 people in the van, but we were perfectly comfortable. We even stopped to view a waterfall on the way back into town, which was a nice treat. There were other, nice surprises along the way as well.

This tour is really a great way for first-time visitors to see what the area has to offer. Will definitely try one of the other tours the next time we have a chance to visit the area.
