Cayuga is such a beautiful lake. It is surrounded by hills and lush farmland. I want to go back.

“Beautiful lake”
Reviewed July 14, 2012

I visited Cayuga Lake within Taughannock State Park. There a portion of the lake where swimming is allowed. My husband and i just sat at one of the many picnic tables in the shade to enjoy the view. It's a nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.

“Bug free splendor”
Reviewed July 14, 2012

What a summer walk that isn't buggy? A lake shore walk along cayuga lake is just the ticket. The trail along the inlet is paved and so its perfect for the jogger or the lumbering loon. Its a favorite in buggy weather as the winds just blow the insects to the netherlands.

“Check it out.”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

This is by far one of the most beautiful areas, do yourself a favor and take a ride on Hwy 89 for lovely views of the lake. Stop at one of the wineries for a great view and have lunch at one of many outside areas they have.
