This lake is amazing. It is huge and you feel like you are the only one here. 6 wineries have docks and you can take a wine tour by boat.

I was driving from the Ithaca Airport to Trumansburg and most of the way I had a pretty view of the lake. I only wish that I had more time to go and actually spend time near the lake.

Those who love being around water know how calming it can be! Whether here for a little picnic, or a triathlon, you can't beat being on the shores of the lake!

There is a focus on good local food and wine (and beer and cider) in the Finger Lakes, and Cayuga Lake has it's fair share of all, plus an active cultural life in Ithaca and beautiful gorges at the state parks.
