“open and cheap”
Reviewed February 19, 2007

Reliable, inexpensive "road house" style restaurant and tavern...
It is the same little place that we have been going to for decades.
Since so much is open seasonally in this town, Drakes is the
"old reliable" you know they will be open 3 meals a day..I think in the winter they close Wed..the food is basic, homeade, and inexpensive. Cute friendly bar...think of a 1950's wooden booths and red checkered table cloth mom and pop operation...friendly
and fairly quick..straight forward food.

“The place to eat in Inlet, NY”
Reviewed June 27, 2006

If you like good food at a reasonable price this is the place. Breakfast, lunch or dinner all are great and they don't skimp on your drinks either. Best in Inlet…

“You'll Love this place!”
Reviewed August 8, 2005

When traveling to Inlet, NY make it a point to stop at Drake's Inn.
Drakes Inn is Located on NY Route 28 not far from 7th Lake on
the Fulton Chain of Lakes. This place has been a favorite for
vacationers and locals alike for many, many years. When you
walk in, the cheery atmosphere warms you- even on the coolest of
mornings. Breakfast is superb! Everything is cooked (exactly) to
order and the way you like it. (I've only found one other place
in my travels across America that is like it - The Sawtooth Deli
in Gardiner, MT- just outside the North entrance to Yellowstone National
Park). Lunch is great at Drake's and so is dinner! Menu prices are
reasonable. The whole family can enjoy meals at Drake's, and Dad's
wallet won't be flattened.
