“Place needs to be cleaner”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2013 via mobile

This was my second time dinning there. Not much had changed since last year. The place is filthy and unorganized. A play area for young kids has the same nasty old dolls and toys. One table is used for kitchen supplies and pizza boxes. Taking up space making the dinning area very congested. Self serve drinks oddly are not located w/ the silverware napkins etc. The salad and wings are really good. But I've had comparable pizza at the local gas station.

“Thank God They Were Open!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

We came to town without knowing the locals leave for their own vacations in early April. All the towns were deserted: shops and restaurants were closed! Well, Screamen Eagle was open and everyone was there.
We had so many different beers to choose from! Nice. And the pizza was good.
I give it three stars because we sat at the table for a real long time with no one coming over. So eventually I just ordered from the bar. Same for silverware, you have to go get it yourself. The place doesn't look like a cafeteria...

“great pizza & wings!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

Loved the garlic wings and traditional style pizza. This is a one minute walk from the Marina Motel! Many beers on tap! I don't think they open until 4:00pm though.

We loved the wings - not greasy, were crispy & sauce great! Beer selection great too. We will definitely go back there on our next visit. Staff friendly and helpful.

“Thanks For An Interesting Night Away from the Camp Fire...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2013

Stopped by for a glass of wine and a snack on a rainy night of camping, leaving the kids behind with the men-folk.....their BEER selection was impressively better than their wine selection, but I was offered one that was palatable. Shared an enormous portion of nachos (in hindsight, should have ordered a beer to go with those!!)with my sister and listened to a delightful night of guitar-playing/singing by a woman whom, if I'm not mistaken, is a local school teacher. The room off to the back where we sat, was perfect for several hours of "sister-talk", where the noise levels were not too loud but still able to enjoy the music. Definitely was an interesting night away from the camp fire!! Can't wait to stop by next year on our annual trek to the Adirondacks!!
