Jonathans has always been one of our favorites in Huntington Village and our meal this time was probably the best of all our visits. On Monday's they offer a special menu along with the regular menu and wines at 30% off, so one can upgrade to one of the better wines for a reasonable price. Our group of 6 got very accommodating service, and each dish, including several kinds of fish, steak and chicken, each perfectly prepared to order was enhanced by delicious vegetable sides. Exceptional experience.

A restaurant needs to have a welcoming host, an interesting menu and ambience and comfort....Jonathan's has all of these in abundance. Set in the beautiful relaxing town of Huntington, on Long Island' North Shore, it has plenty of free parking out back and offers a great town to stroll around after a satisfying meal. The menu changes and offers basic cuisine such as beef, pork and lamb dishes, each with a unique flavoring and taste. The pastas are high caliber in creation and will mely on your palate....the bar is fully stocked with every liquor you might desire...Jonathan's also offers fine desserts and is especially interesting during the few Long Island Restaurant Weeks. Prices are then low and the menu offers new variations. A little pricy but dinner for two with a drink can be had for $75. The unique warmth of the restaurant has beckoned us back many times...also Jonathan himself will say hello!!!

I arranged for a private party on a Sat. afternoon. From the time I went in to gather info before booking the party, till the day of the party when it was time to leave, the management of Jonathan's was a pleasure to work with. Alex was extremely helpful and available if I had any questions. No question was a bother. They were cooperative in letting us in early to decorate on the day of the party. After the party,my family and guests called in the days following to say how delicious the food was and how professional and unobtrusive the staff were. The restaurant really is about food, and the feedback I got from my guests was that they were truly impressed with the quality of the food and the variety offered on the party menu. The fried artichokes and the gnocchi were out of this world. All the main dishes were wonderful and the panna cotta got rave reviews for dessert. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a party and I personally can't wait to go back to Jonathan's for a quiet dinner with just a couple of friends.

Was recently in Jonathan's for lunch ... which ended up to be a 5-course meal. The appetizers were well-prepared, as were the salad, main (chicken), and dessert. And especially don't skip the dessert ... I had the chocolate cake which was to die for!

After a busy Sunday afternoon working we wanted a good glass of wine and a lite menu. Johnathan's was perfect. We sat outside enjoying the warm fall evening enjoying the good food, wine and service.
We are looking forward to going back for a full dinner.
