Description: Our Objective: To provide an alternative to the ordinary fast food choices. We believe that fast food can be healthy and tasty, while still being affordable. We use only the freshest of ingredients; prepare our food daily, and sell at low prices. We only use natural ingredients, never meat, fish or poultry, and blend spices that date back to bibical times and places. We do not have a microwave on the premises, all baking is done on the premises, and we offer breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner seven days a week. We cater to special diets in that we offer kosher food, halal food, vegan and vegetarian dishes. We believe in large portions: if the food is healthy, why not? Since everything is super-fresh, you can take home your leftovers, and they'll keep in the refrigerator. We are deeply concerned about your dining experience with us, and welcome suggestions, constructive criticism, and of course compliments. We appreciate your suggestions since we consider our restaurant a constant work in progress, we are always trying to improve our offerings. We are here for you - without you, we cannot exist.

I heard from a few friends and got it confirmed from previous Yelp reviews so I decided to drive over an hour to Park Falafel. I was not disappointed. Having spent much time in Queens and Long Island and in Israel, I know good Middle Eastern food and kosher veggie pizza. This place rocks. Started out with a bowl of spicy bean soup that was hot and delicious and contained a mix of veggies and savory Middle Eastern spices. Then came the Falalel platter. The falafel was as good as the best I had in Jerusalem. The pita bread seems to be fresh baked and not paper thin like most commercially baked pita. The humus and other veggies were first rate. I wanted to sample more but I was delightfully full. So instead, I took home a veggie pizza, two deconstructed falafel platters and the owner, Brian, a really good guy, gave me a sampler of carrot salad and stuffed grape leaves. The food was quickly served and the store manager, Justin, was incredibly helpful. In short, this place was worth the drive (and it's closer than Queens and Tel Aviv if you live in the Hudson Valley.) We will be back. You must go there too. It's worth the trip from anywhere in the Hudson Valley.

This small and unpretentious restaurant has wonderful falafel, great homemade hummus and tabouli, and homemade desserts as well. The chocolate cheesecake is truly remarkable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The thin paper plates and very weak plastic cutlery could be improved to a higher quality, however.

Falafel sandwich is always good, as are the soups. Prices are more than reasonable. Hudson food tends to run seriously high end or low end, making it tough to get a healthy bite to eat (for tourists or locals who want a night off kitchen duty.). Park Falafel & Pizza is the perfect, happy medium.
