My girlfriend and myself have stayed in this hotel many times over the last few years. The señora and her family are very nice and the posada has a lot of personality.
Sure, the toilet seat might be a different color than the toilet, or you might stub your toe on the door stop mounted to the floor if you are not careful, but you have to look at the good things. This place is in a great location; half a block to Zaragoza to catch a cab or bus, and a straight shot to el centro if you plan on walking.
Their is never any shortage of hot water in this place and you can not beat the price. I think we paid $35 a night.
My only advice?? If you visit Queretaro in the hot months do not stay in one of the two rooms at the end with the little balconies/porches. These two rooms have A/C units, but they do not vent properly to the outside and the rooms do not cool down like they should. We stay here a lot and room 104 is my favorite.More
