And against all ods, once again I was happily surprised on my last visit to Cocono. This time the manager recommended something from the Yucatan Peninsula. I must admit that when he explained what it was a tad reluctant, but I decided to give it a try... WHOA, what a great surprise!
The "tamal" was more like a corn cake filled with chicken placed on a two sauce, beans and red souce, base that was finger-liking good. I dont know if they will have this dish on your next visit, but ask for it and if they do, by all means have it! The bartender was also very nice and he prepared for me one of the best lemonade/mint combinations I´ve ever tasted. Kudos Cocono! Keep on with the good work!
