“fun but not functional”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

Very well located, the hostel is a colonial building modernly decorated. We slept in the dorms, luckily when there were no other guest at that time because it does seem equipped for many people at the same time. Very poor breakfast!

We travelled 3 weeks around Mexico, when evaluating value for money this was the best
In spanish we would say it has the "3Bs" Bueno Bonity y Barato (Good nice and cheap)
The hotel is well located, clean all at a very good price

We spent New Years at Kuku Ruku and fell in love with the hotel on sight. It's a colonial building but each room is decorated by a different designer which gives it a modern touch. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the location could not be better, a block away from the heart of it all. But what impressed me the most was that I parked in a no parking zone and had my license plate removed. It was January 1 so the local DPS office was closed, nevertheless I called them up and asked them to go, pay the fine and shipthe plate to Mexico City, which they did, promptly, happily and at no extra charge.

Look nowhere else, Kukuruku is THE hotel to stay at in Queretaro!

The Hostel is so nice, fancy and fashion, from the most expensive private rooms until the dorms. And also it is really clean, and the staff is so nice.

Querétaro is a really lovely city, with its "barrios" and colonial buildings, streets, paths; statues, monuments and churchs everywhere. You can get tours to know the old colonial buildings and the legends that surround them.

The hostel is in the downtown, so you don't need a vehicle to move into the city, you can walk, everything is really close.

I went there with my girl friend and it was awesome!!! Well located (good museums, restaurants and clubs at walking distance), delicious food (having breakfast everyday in Kuku Ruku was amazing, ask everyday for something different you won't regret), VERY GOOD SERVICE (rooms are always super clean and if you have any question or need anything they will give it to you)=AWESOME!!! I totally recommend it!!! HAVE FUN ;-)
P.D. Make sure to reserve with a week or so of anticipation if you are going on a long weekend.

The hostal is really nice, the staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and you have enough space to keep everything. The city is lovely and the hotel is located in a very centric part of the city.
