“Good Museum, Beautiful Buidling”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Good museum of the history of Queretaro and the area in a wonderful old convent or monastary. Not much English but worthwhile just the same.

“AWESOME HISTORICAL MUSEUM”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

I recommend this museum. It has a beautiful building full of history. It offers good exhibitions. I went there to a music concert. If you go there you can learn a lot from the entire history of Queretaro from time to time.

“Aesthetically Pleasing Architecture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

Construction on this former Franciscan Convent of Santiago began in the 16th century and further construction was in the 18th century. It opened as a museum in 1936. We loved strolling through the exhibits and pictures without flash were allowed. I have a passion for corridors and this museum had beautiful ones.

“Lovely Small Historical Museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

There is a nice historical museum here as to Mexican history, and other exhibits. However, the big attraction of this museum is the lovely building itself, a converted but lovely, former Franciscan convent. The interior courtyard is beautiful and very relaxing.

“Nice Museum”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

We stumbled upon the museum and it was actually a free admission day. It had lovely displays that were laid out quite well and covered a lot of the history of Queretaro. The building itself is quite wonderful and has a beautiful courtyard garden.
