My Son and I had the pleasure of visiting this most beautiful place on earth recently.
We experienced Elephants up close and personal like nowhere else in Africa and caught tiger fish while doing so."catch and release"The ability to fish and view game along the Zambezi River was truly an amazing experience of a life time. The curious Hippos gave way, to allow us supreme fishing in comfort, with all the amenities required to make it the most awesome Tiger fishing trip.
Our guide knew all the holes and gulleys, where the fish frequented which made for a thrilling and memorable time on the river.
Game drives brought another dimension to our stay, where sightings of Leopard,Lion and Hyena nearby the camp at night brought the beauty and excitement of Africa home.
Monkeys, baboons, antelope, rare and exotic animals were viewed on our night excursions with our experienced and informative guide.
We managed to photograph four species of Kingfisher aswell as a Bateleur Eagle with his catch of a tiger fish in his talons.
The photographic opportunities and variety of birds was absolutely fabulous.
The camp was five star luxury all the way from the cuisine to the luxurious accommodation and the management could not have been more knowledgeable and accommodating.
We are planning another trip this year and can't wait to return to Anabezi,
Our own piece of Paradise

This was a superb end to our Zambia Safari. The extra luxury was amazing but the most important things for us were superb guiding by Mwila, a fantastic setting and caring interested managers. We were lucky to see elephants in superb evening light, an African wildcat and a porcupine as well as lions and a leopard. We were particularly interested in birds and saw many incluiding Malachite Kingfishers a Black Heron and an Eagle Owl. It was just great!

You can sit and watch elephants, hippos, warthogs and birds etc etc from the walkway or your room..

Food and wine was all outstanding. We had the best sunset of the whole trip on the evening boat ride. The viewings from the boat were wonderful.

Thank you very much indeed. We would love to return.

It is hard to find the words to do Anabezi justice. It is paradise: perfect in every way.

The rooms are huge and stunning, and include outside showers so you can shower under the stars, a deck and plunge pool to view the animals whilst you relax and unwind.

The game viewing from your own room or from anywhere in the camp is spectacular. Impala, warthog, baboon, cape buffalo, elephant, hippos- all part of the everyday scenery. It was lovely to quietly watch the animals going about there every day life. We watched (and heard) the impala sparring, the baboons playing, an impala chasing a bird, the warthog rolling in the mud, elephants crossing the river, hippos calling: it was perfect.

Everyone at Anbezi is delightful: Paul and Lynne are so helpful, kind and such fun. They really made you feel like part of the family. Thank you both for all your effort and hospitality.

Carle's cooking is superb and every meal was delicious and varied and there was a lot of choice too. She went to such effort and it was all superb! ...This is a luxurious camp where you will be spoiled rotten!

Mwila, our guide was a legend! So knowledgeable and also such great fun to be with. We miss him so much! Thanks to him we had some superb lion and leopard sightings but every outing was interesting, whatever we saw. I loved the guinea bowl, termites and impala as much as the "Big 5" and Mwila managed to fulfil my dream of seeing an impala baby!

We were so sad to leave Anabezi and definitely intend to return, sooner rather than later.

Anabezi is owned and run by a lovely family who makes sure that your visit is perfect in every way. The cuisine is delicious and varied. The accommodations are superb; large, beautifully decorated tents with two bathrooms-one inside and our favorite was outside. The guides are excellent and very knowledgeable. Game-viewing and birding was superb. This was my fifth safari in Africa and I highly recommend Anabezi. You will not be disappointed.

Room tip: All tents are situated looking out at the Zambezi River.

A truly amazing out of Africa experience,to lie in bed and watch the Elephants stroll past and listen the Lion roar. The management Team and Staff could not have been more friendlier and helpful the tents clean and very comfortable. The food was delicious and served with care even to our table of eight.. Nobby our guide so knowledgeable teaching us so much about the African Bush. Nobby and Gift helping us catch Tiger Fish and joining in with the computation on the last day.
A very big thank you to the whole Team at Anabezei we shall be booking again.....
