A truly amazing out of Africa experience,to lie in bed and watch the Elephants stroll past and listen the Lion roar. The management Team and Staff could not have been more friendlier and helpful the tents clean and very comfortable. The food was delicious and served with care even to our table of eight.. Nobby our guide so knowledgeable teaching us so much about the African Bush. Nobby and Gift helping us catch Tiger Fish and joining in with the computation on the last day.
A very big thank you to the whole Team at Anabezei we shall be booking again.....

What can I say about this absolutely wonderful place that would do it full justice? My wife and I were there for 4 of the most wonderful days of our lives. The staff, service, food, game drives, and facilities were superb. We were made so welcome by the Management team, thanks to Paul, Jess and Lynn. Thanks also to Honest who found me a 12 1/2 lb tigerfish! However our trip was made perfect by the most wonderful guide, Mwila, whom we are now proud to call our good friend. He made the gameviewing experience so special for us. I would highly recommend Anabezi as an experience not to be missed.

We were not sure about Anabezi when it was first proposed by our agent as it had little reviews on TripAdvisor vs other camps and was relatively new. But from the moment we landed on Jeki airstrip on dirt and our guide Prisley was waiting with enthusiasm amid the scorching 34 degrees heat, we had the sense this was something special. It was a 1 hr drive from the airstrip to camp, but Prisley was already set on making it a worthwhile game drive. What's so special about the lodge is that it is only one of the 5 or 6 lodges permitted to be in Lower Zambezi national park. Anabezi is right in the middle of the park which means having a greater chance to see big cats and when u do spot them, they are all for yourselves and possibly just other guests of Anabezi. Guides at the camp were fantastic and had great teamwork alerting each other by radio if they spotted a lion or leopard. Prisley was the best guide we've ever had in our 2 big Africa trips over the past few years. He was patient, informative, funny and most of all...THE best animal crime scene investigator.

Despite having read that Lower Zambezi had a lower density of animals compared to South Luangwa, our experience was the total opposite. We loved LZ! The landscape was beautiful lined with ana & mahogany trees, many elephants, warthogs, impalas...and we were so lucky to spot at least 1 leopard every night. We also spotted more male lions then females...just amazing. Tents were luxurious and common decks allowed for gd animal viewing as you are just in front of the river and plains. Service and staff were great..food was not as good as other camps but the 'house wines' were excellent. Lastly, you have to do the 1hr canoeing safari. It took us more than 1.5 hrs because of the wind but we saw big crocs, hippos near us and the highlight was a group of 4-5 male elephants crossing the river. 2 thumbs up and we highly recommend choosing Anabezi!

We went for a 4 day trip and had the most amazing time. The camp is absolutely stunning and elephants, impalas Buffalo etc.. roam around so close you could almost touch time, one is truly in the middle of the African Bush. The game drives are great, we even saw Lions and Leopards.
The staff are so helpful and Gift our guide was the best fisherman ever.
The Food was really good and we were surprised by the diversity each day. I highly recommend the Anabezi, what a dream, it was so hard to leave and we will finitely be back.

We spent 4 nights at Anabezi. The Game viewing was superb- epsecially lion and leopard sightings, plus some stunning birdlife. The chalets are of the highest standard and the food well balanced and delicious.
Thanks to Nobby, who set such a high standard of guiding, and to Paul, Lynn, Jess, Trevor and the team for making us feel so welcome.

Room tip: Wifi in reception.Superb guiding and wildlife, boat trips on the Zambezi. Birding excellent. Would make an ideal honeymoon location.
