My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in late Apr and we could not have wanted a more relaxing or enjoyable experience for our 30th wedding anniversary. Super staff, great food, amazing wildlife and views and we both caught a Tiger fish. Thanks RZL for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable.

Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) stated here for three days as part of a tour. The private jet from Livingstone to the airstrip made the arrival seem unique and remote. After a quick drive, we arrived at the lodge. The open air public rooms were airy, warm and had lovely views of the water. All the "tents" had patios with comfortable chairs and water views. The tents were large and very comfortable and listening to the wildlife right outside (especially grunting hippos, birds and monkeys) was delightful. The staff were warm and friendly (especially the morning "knock knock" wake up calls). The meals were served on the patio and the variety of food was delicious (veggie frittata, lots of fresh fruit and veggies, local fish, lamb shank). The spa is in a lovely setting and we were disappointed not to get to try the services. The lodge offered wonderful game drives, boat tours, bush walks and the canoes are a must. They were also happy to send a driver with us during a bush run (there are yoga mats in the room). I just wish we could have stayed longer!

We just loved the whole ambience of the Lodge and the fact that it was located both near to the National Park and right on the banks of the Zambezi River. We did one excellent conventional safari and saw so many animals including a male and female lion snoozing in the shadow of a tree protected from the morning sun. We actually chose to spend more time on the River, doing a spot of fishing (catch and release) and had a fabulous final afternoon with a canoe ride along the banks of the Zambezi.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and personable. The rooms were lovely and it was great to relax by our own personal splash-pool or day bed and watch the elephants stroll by....... The food was great and the experience of flying in over the Zambezi and being collected in open topped safari vehicles was all part of the holiday. A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay very special - it was our 30th wedding anniversary trip and will always be fondly remembered.

Room tip: All lovely, but the higher grade ones are more private and have their own splash pools.

One of the finest, most interesting places I've ever been. Truly amazing. The animals on the property were so cool. Amazing views from each tent. Extremely comfortable bed and accommodations. Great food. And best game drives I've encountered anywhere. Great guides. The place is magical!

We had the most fantastic time! The staff (Tiki and Billy) and our gorgeous guides (Chris and Shadrick) we so welcoming and friendly - not pretenious at all! Accommodation was just perfect and the food. The animals were amazing we did everything on land and water you could, we just wish we could have stayed twice as long! Can't wait to get back!

Room tip: We stayed in the Classic tent and it was perfect!
