“Royal stay”

We really liked staying in the luxurious room and in a nice rural environment just outside of Tamale. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the owners did their very best to help us with our travel plans, including arranging for a car rental to visit Mole national park, which we couldn't have seen otherwise (most people stay over in the motel at Mole, but we had little time). Also had very nice chats and learned a lot about Ghanean and local history. The restaurant offered delicious national cuisine.
You can also have a wonderful walk through the nearby fields while you're there!

I saw quite a few hotels in Tamale and this one definitely wins by European standards. The good:
+ Pretty new and well maintained
+ Extremely friendly owner
+ Free pickup and delivery to the airport
+ Rooms are clean and nicely furnished
What's less:
- There is rumor of a pool but there is none
- The wifi does not work (although the owner does offer to use his USB device)
- It is slightly out of town but convenient for the airport
- Prices (in all of Tamale) are high for what you get

We were here for two nigjhts during a trip in Ghana, Togo and Benin, in august 2012. After several poor accomodations it was really a dream to be here in a clean and quiet room to relax and restore. Thamk you!

We stayed at African Dream Hotel as part of a short break to Tamale from our time in Bolga. It is an oasis of quality in terms of the facilities and the service provided by Abu and Annelyse and their staff. The hotel is expanding with some interesting new buildings as rooms to stay and a stylish eating area. The help and contacts provided during our short visit really made a great difference to our stay in Ghana. We look forward to staying at the hotel again when we are next in the Tamale area.

I stayed here after heavy rains and coming back home at night there were gnats, ants and spiders all over the place. I called the front desk, and the guy very nicely came in and killed/cleaned up most of the insects. It was still pretty disconcerting. Perhaps it was simply because of the weather, but for the price I payed I would hope that there would be less bugs. It was hard to sleep knowing that there were bugs crawling around.

Other than the bugs though, the room was beautiful and the AC and hot water worked well.

Our family stayed here for one night while returning from our vacations at Mole and Paga. This hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Property is managed by owners Who stays in the same complex and hence has a very good personal touch. Rooms were clean with good quality accessories and fittings. Owners are very polite and helpful.
though property is a bit out of city but is situated in a very big land and hence it is very quite and spacious for stay.\
Do not know whether Swimming pool is available.

would recommend for quality stays.

Room Tip: Rooms 4&5 have Window East facing and hence Sun sneaks from window in morning...

Our photo group stayed here a couple weeks ago. Prince and Annelyse gave us a warm welcome and made our stay very, very pleasant. The rooms are very nice, particularly compared to the local standards, and the food was great.

They are expanding the hotel and will have more rooms in the future. All in all, a very good spot.
