We wanted somewhere to stay in order to visit Khama Rhino Sanctuary, and found Masama Lodge in one of the Botswana books. Go there, it's fabulous. Don't be put off by the converted coach serving as an office, it just adds to the charm of the place. We were greeted with a smile and treated like royalty. Captain Kay and his staff couldn't do enough to make us welcome. We went in May 2014 and were served our first breakfast outside close to the rondavel in which we stayed. What a breakfast it was. More than enough fried food plus cereals and warmed sandwiches. All quite delicious. We also had dinner there, again outside as it was a very fine night, lit by lanterns and also a fire, This again was a veritable feast. Very well cooked, some oven cooked and some from the braai.
The rooms are very comfortable, very quiet and very dark, just the way I like it.
At the time of writing prices were not displayed on the page but it is very inexpensive. We thought we got extremely good value, they charged virtually nothing for the excellent meals.
Thank you Captain Kay and very good luck.
