I stayed here overnight with a friend and his dog to take a break during a road trip to Toronto. All three of us fit into Fox Den reasonably comfortably. There are three other cabins besides Fox Den, one of which is actually a teepee, not a cabin.
When we arrived, we were quite hungry, and Cathy was very helpful in directing us to a German restaurant in Honeoye that allows dogs to sit with their owners outside in the beer garden. The craft beers were excellent. The sausages were pretty good too.
Cathy also advised us of some good hiking trails about 5 miles from the property (see pictures below). It turned out to be a brief but pleasant and much needed rest in a beautiful part of New York State.
Just be aware that the cabins are very rustic and fairly rudimentary shelters. They do have electricity but do not have plumbing. The bathroom and kitchen in the lodge are shared among guests. It's not necessarily a problem, but it is definitely something to consider before booking an extended vacation at this property.
