The property in a word was very "tired". Everywhere it needed remodeling and updating. Front desk staff were very friendly. The room totally needed updating and the noise from the room next door kept us up half the night. The mattress needed replacing. I used points for this stay, had I paid out of pocket I would have been even more upset.

Stayed at this hotel for about a month for work. The room is small for an extended stay. There is barely enough room to walk around the bed. Only one small three drawer dresser and you can supposedly fit 4 people in the room.... apparently each person can only have 1 set of clothes because there's limited space to store anymore. The front entrance is tight and not conducive for moving suitcases in/out. There is also a curb right outside and no unloading zone so you have to park illegally and lift your stuff up the curb. There are also signs outside that say no smoking within 50 ft of building and staff were smoking right outside the main entrance, gross. The kitchen is small but useable with plates, cups, utensils, a pot but no pan. There is also a 2 burner stovetop, microwave, full-size dishwasher, full-size fridge and sink. The couch is very uncomfortable and full of stains. I found long hair on multiple towels and on the walls of the shower. There was also mold in corners of the shower and the plug didn't actually plug the shower so no bath for kids. The furniture is outdated and the room doesn't really flow nicely. Breakfast was less than tasteful. I barely took a bite out of the eggs and sausage, it was pretty gross. And the OJ was watered down and definitely not fresh. There's a waffle maker, yogurt, bagels that made up my breakfast for a month. I judge hotels on: cleanliness and breakfast. The hallway carpets could use a good clean or be replaced and you can hear everyone in the hallway. It is obvious this is an older hotel and I can't imagine that $150-200 per night is worth it. I would put this hotel at about a 1.5 star and worth about $85/night.

Very nice visit. Came to see family at Stonybrook University which is an easy ten miles away. Safe area. Ample free parking, friendly staff. Nice large room. Bed was fine, TV was fine. Shower was fine. Did not try wifi. Small but functional gym. Did not use pool nor hot tub but others were there. Breakfast was nice with variety and taste. I will continue to come back to this hotel.

Convenient location, free breakfast and indoor pool made this a great place to stay for me and my family. A couple of dining options within walking distance made things even easier. This will be my hotel of choice when visiting Long Island.

I was a bit hesitant to write a review because someone paid for this place for us, it was not what I would expect, the room was decent but needs to be upgraded and the halls need a GOOD carpet cleaning!!!
Staff was very friendly but it was sad it was a disappointment
