Pat and Brenda definitely bring Southern hospitality to the Finger Lakes at the Savannah House. They greeted us like family and treated us like family during our stay. As first time Finger Lakes visitors, we were very happy with our location on Lake Seneca (within walking distance of a few wineries and close to many more by car). We made s'mores in the fire pit that Brenda lit each night and enjoyed the beautiful views of the property out back. Pat gave us great recommendations for places to eat and wineries to visit. We definitely recommend staying here for clean, Southern inspired rooms and a great location. We'll be back!

Having lived in Philadelphia at one time, we are always happy to have guests from there, and to be able to share experiences of the city. You were wonderful guests, and we enjoyed our time with you. Thank you very much for your very nice comments, and please come again.

The Savannah House Inn was exactly what we needed- clean, convenient, reasonable. Our suite for the four of us had more space than we expected, gorgeous views, and Pat and Brenda were super friendly and hospitable. We didn't realize the dinner included in our package was actually at a great local restaurant, and the futon was a little uncomfortable. We appreciated the hosts warm welcome, recommendations, and beautiful accommodations.

If Rexy enjoyed it at the Wild Flower, that's all that matters :) It's always nice to have you return and to have your friendship. We are pleased that you enjoy our little jewel so much - and that you take such good care of it. Thank you for your wonderful comments. It means a lot.

The perfect location, in the center of Seneca Lake, the Savannah House was the perfect spot for our small bachelorette party. Pat and Brenda have the hospitality of a southerner and make you feel welcome from the moment you step out of your car. As a member of our group said, "Brenda is an angel sent from heaven.". They give wonderful recommendations and cater to any needs you may have.
Our rooms were quaint and homey. The suite was a fantastic place to relax after our long day. Pat makes fantastic coffee, if only it was available a little earlier in the morning. Our group were early risers so we would have loved to have coffee available at 6:30, instead of 7:30.
Our only other complaint was the suite description. The website and description given over the phone was the suite had a queen bed and a pull-out couch with double bed. The room had the queen bed but not a pull-out coach but instead a futon. The futon was comfortable but better fit for one person, not two.
We would definitely stay at the Savannah House again and recommend the Inn and its Bachelorette package to anyone.

We loved having your group stay with us, and all your very nice comments during the time you were with us. That and your review mean a lot to us - and your constructive comments as well. Unfortunately, the futon is the only means for providing extra sleeping accommodations - other than portable beds which we find are not as comfortable. The futon does have a deluxe mattress and pad to make it more comfortable. The early coffee situation is easy to fix. We can p[rovide you with fresh ground gourmet coffee the night before, so you can brew it in the suite as early as you like:) Thank you for taking the time to share your exp[erience with us.

We stayed in the Seneca Street Cottage in February and had a great time! The cottage was very relaxing for our short trip and only a minute or two away from the main road which goes around the lake. It had a great lakefront view and was in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a street. It was convenient to local wineries and a short drive from a grocery, pharmacy, etc. Make sure to stock up on basic household paper and cleaning products before you get there so you can relax in the hot tub and not have to worry about leaving the cottage. We were able to bring our dog and enjoy the weekend at our pace. The cabin has a kitchen stocked with pots and pans so you can cook your own meals with ease. When we forgot a jacket in the cabin, Pat and Brenda were nice enough to mail it back very quickly. Overall, we had a great time.

So I rented a room at the Savannah House Inn sight unseen, just picked it from the Internet site. I am not usually a fan of B & Bs, but this place had the best of both worlds, a private room/bath with a separate entrance, and with owners who were approachable and knowledgeable about the area. The location is very convenient, right on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail with a pretty view of the lake.
The owners Pat and Brenda graciously waited up for our very late arrival to make sure we moved into our room with no problem. Our room was clean and inviting with cozy touches, including an electric fireplace.
My traveling companion had a great time bonding with Pat over delicious morning coffee, which Pat takes great pride in brewing, resulting in multiple cups! We also got great information about what to do with our day, namely a place to eat breakfast and some must-see wineries. The Passport booklet they gave to us worked out well for some free tastings!
Pat and Brenda could not be more welcoming. Their hospitality will be remembered for a longtime. Since I had not been to the Lakes region before, I did not know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised at all the region has to offer. I absolutely look to forward to visiting there again, maybe in the warmer months, and will definitely be booking a room at the Savannah House Inn sometime soon.

Yours is one of the most articulate and informative reviews we have received. Coming from Boston, another one of our favorite cities, we had a lot of mutual interests. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for taking so much of your husband's getaway time - but he's a very interesting guy:) It was great helping to introduce the area to you - your enthusiasm was difficult to ignore:) Please come back again soon. Thank you for such wonderful comments.

My wife and I had a great stay here. The option to get a massage in the room was fabulous and JoAnne was great. The room was cute and quaint and comfortable. Pat was nice and was great with suggestions of where to eat and winerys to visit. The best part about Savannah house it is smack dab in the middle of wine country, and walking distance to 3 vinyards. We will stay here again-
