We stayed with Deborah on our trip from Ontario to Brimfield and were charmed by the thoughtful touching and welcoming atmosphere. The bedroom and bed made for a perfect and restful sleep. Breakfast was delicious from the perfectly steeped teas and grilled grapefruit to a lovely omelet made with free eggs and produce found locally. We highly recommend a visit. e will be sure to return.

So glad you both enjoyed your stay, and in particular the loose leaf Harney Tea! Hope to see you back again for some of those wonderful events we discussed like the "Country Living" Fair in early June.

We will be back for sure!!! Looking home base to tour the Berkshires and Hudson Valley we found everything we wanted at the Inn at Green River. Comfortable, cozy, clean, private yet welcoming! The room we stayed in was spacious and looked out onto the snowy grounds. Having not been to this region before, Deborah offered a great knowledge of the area - All of her recomendations were spot on. She made a wonderful host and the most delicious breakfasts. We have already discussed a visit back here during the summer months!

Thanks, Sue J, so glad you enjoyed your stay in the Merrill room, and I do hope to see you back here this summer when the Inn's grounds are green and lush, and the hammock beckons!

I stayed at the Inn at Green River for five nights in late July 2012 while I was taking a painting class with a local artist. It is a wonderfully comfortable place, thoughtfully renovated to preserve the older-home features. beautifully furnished with country antiques, vintage rugs, and eclectic artwork. The grounds offer lots of quiet spaces to sit, read, and relax under trees and in more open spaces. The owner and innkeeper, Deborah, is friendly and helpful, always knowledgeable with recommendations for local attractions and services, and an inventive cook who provides a generous, delicious, varied breakfast every day. I was genuinely sorry to leave, and look forward to a return visit !

Thanks, KC, for sharing your experience at the Inn this summer. I always enjoy it when a guest stays for more than a day or two, so that I get to know you a bit better, and you get to explore all the area has to offer. I know you were occupied with your painting class. I do hope you will come back another time and play tourist!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was quiet, clean, and well-appointed. Breakfasts were delicious. Excellent home base for touring the Berkshires, which we did from Great Barrington in the south to Williamstown up north. Deborah know the area in detail and gave great advice on routes to take, what to see, and where to eat. Overall, an excellent experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In addition the breakfasts and cleanliness mentioned by numerous reviewers, the Inn has a very cozy feel. Deborah is very warm and engaging and helped us with decisions on places for dinner and places to see. Her knowledge of the area is a tremendous benefit. Even prior to the visit I did a lot of research and found Deborah's website and blogs to be very helpful in planning the visit.

We are so pleased we found the Inn through searching the web. Reasonably priced, centrally located, quiet, and clean. Deborah was very helpful, a lovely hostess, and an excellent cook. I am not normally an early morning eater, but I looked forward to the Inn's fabulous breakfasts. We stayed in the Vandercook room, which is one of the smaller rooms. However, it was very nice and we loved the small, private, outside sitting area. The grounds are beautiful, also. We arrived earlier than expected, and because our room was ready, were allowed to check in at 2:00 rather than 3:00. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Inn to anyone who enjoys staying at a bed and breakfast.

I have only good things to say about this B&B! My husband and I celebrated our 9th anniversary on August 2nd, and spent the night at the Inn at Green River. Deborah, the inkeeper, was very warm and welcoming. The house was charming, and the grounds, very tranquil and well maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Deborah seved us an outstanding breakfast, and we left feeling very excited to share our experience with others, considering a stay in this area. I can be very picky, and this B&B came through with flying colors!

Room Tip: I don't think you can go wrong.
