“A Little Bit of New England in New York with Great Food”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

Mariner's Harbor offers fine dining overlooking the Hudson River in a building reminiscent of New England eateries along the ocean. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly and very efficient. A wonderful place to eat and relax throughout the summer but I favor the off season, especially the fall, when the foliage is at peak and there is less of a crowd. Reasonably priced dishes, all excellently prepared, and an impressive wine list and assortment of beer. My daughter is a vegetarian - and never a great sea food fan even when she wasn't - and yet she has found plenty on Mariner's menu that she's enjoyed. Located on a quiet stretch of Highland Landing, Mariner's on the Hudson is a very pleasant dining experience and, in the fall, just the right spot to sit and enjoy the colors of the leaves and a cold beer.

“Stop for lunch and take in the views on the Hudson”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

The views and the atmosphere makes it a great stop over to eat and refresh.
Food is standard fare, fresh and with good taste. Prices are reasonable and the staff always friendly.

“Great atmosphere, but menu lacks bite.”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

Food is adequate, run-of-the-mill, and overpriced. Pretty ambiance and good service, but with so many better options and Culinary trained chefs in such abundance in the Hudson Valley, I'd eat elsewhere.

“first-rate view and location”
Reviewed July 10, 2012

We went here for the location and view (and because it was open on a holiday) and received excellent service and surprisingly good food. The menu is varied and it's a fun place to dine,

“Appetizers!”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

I am a local. View spectacular (I love the Hudson River)!! Didn't have dinner. Just appies and wine. The calamari was very good ( tender) and nice sauces for dipping. The scallop appetizer was awesome!! Cooked to perfection. Kudos to the chef. Will get me back there! And just for fun look for the huge carp begging for a scrap of bread, if they can get past the geese. Also, they have widened the deck since their mishap with Irene last year. Nice touch. They could, however, take the time to wipe the railing after " little fingers" have been feeding the fish. But those scallops will get me back there.
