Dined at Royal Bukhara Grill for the first time the other night, and will definitely be returning! It's located on a quiet stretch of Broadway in Hicksville, with ample and very convenient parking. The setting was pleasant and comfortable. Service was attentive and accomodating--they listened to our requests in terms of spice and 'heat' levels of the dishes (important in Indian cuisine, we've found), and checked back often to make sure we were happy. The menu was broad and included a number of items new to me, but we opted for some familiar favorites. The samosas were excellent, as were the vegetable fritters--light and beautifully textured. The chicken kourma was creamy, with just the right degree of spice. A cauliflower dish with peppers and subtle sauce was a great side. Try the 3-bread basket--delectable! Portions were ample, with rice pilau and papadam included in the very reasonable prices. A meal to remember!
