“Love the HHJ!”
Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

Had a fun time with fun people. We made it our first stop and it was a party started. Fun wine (on the sweet side). We get White Cat and Red Cat in PA so it was fun to see where it came from.

“Our first and best stop on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail!”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

Made this our first stop of many while visiting Seneca Lake. We are big fans of Red Cat and we wanted to see where it came from. The visit didn't disappoint in any way, shape, or form. Hazlitt has tons of character and the staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The gift/wine shop got an A+ in our book! If you're visiting Seneca Lake make sure you out this on your list of things to do.

“Fun winery, always have to stop while on the wine trail”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

I just love this winery. Whenever I am on the Seneca wine trail I have to stop here. They also seem to be well organized and their staff is always friendly. I was just here with family on Sunday. We were greeted by a staff member at the door before going in asking how many were in our party. The directed us right into the tasting room and set us up with a wine tasting promtly. They have enough staff so during your tasting the focus is on you. The wines were good, with a wide variety to fit everyone's taste. They give your freshly made popcorn with your wine tasting too. I believe the wine tasting was $3 or $4 for 6 wines, but they give you a chip with your wine tasting so if you buy a wine you present your chip and they take the tasting fee off the price of the wine. Off the tasting room in a little shop with all the wines and some gift items. This is one place I know I will return to, love it!

We have been there every time we go to Seneca lake.
And this a quite a few times.

We love sweet wines and Hazlitt's has a fine selection.

The new outside tasting room is a great addition.

Ring the bell and sing the song!!!!!!

“Dead animals”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

This place is full of taxidermy, I mean full. It was written up as a top 25 tasting room, but after visiting I will never know why. The wine ranges from reasonably good to horribly bad, with horribly bad being the best seller. If you like your wine cheap and sweet, in big bags, this is your kind of place.
