We arrived for my friend's belated Birthday lunch and were met by the loveliest, most friendly group of people ever. They were fun, attentive and provided excellent, prompt service. The food was impeccable and delicious. To start my friend had smoked salmon salad and I had the ceviche. To my friend's horror I pretty much literally licked my plate. Yep, that good! We both had fish tacos, they were fresh, flavorful and very refined. They came with black beans and lightly seasoned rice. The sangria here is awesome. This visit we had the white, which has apples, oranges and lemons in it...sublime. The lovely outside patio was getting a little warm (or was it due to the pitcher of sangria?) and we asked to move inside. They moved us willingly and graciously, then brought dessert. I had the baked Alaska, so so good, and Sally's bread pudding had Birthday wishes around her plate and a lit candle. After singing to her they left us to finish dessert at our leisure and then chatted with us before we had to go. I seriously would sell my house and move to Haverstraw to be near these great people and this absolutely divine Latino restaurant. See you soon!
