Description: The Inn Spot On The Bay serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cheffes take turns at the stove, Cheffe Pamela is at the helm for Sunday breakfast & brunch, and Cheffe Colette takes over for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. Part of the appeal, and what has made The Inn Spot so successful, is the fact that everything is made from scratch. The cheffes mantra is to use as much local produce and fare as possible. There are herbs, heirloom tomatoes and vegetables planted all around the restaurant property. The blueberries, rhubarb, quince and many other goodies come from Cheffe Pamela's family garden a few blocks away.

“Hamptons hideaway”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Friends took us here for dinner - and it was wonderful. Right on the beach as the sun went down to end a splendid day. The food was very tasty - and we all had seafood dishes which were excellent. The crustacean pot pie stood out. The Inn Spot is a delightful hideaway that has yet to be discovered by the Hamptons' glitterati - thank God!

“very disappointing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

The 'crustaceous pot pie' tasted the same as the crab bisque -- very mediocre. Oysters did not taste fresh. Their claim of 'award winning' duck must have been bestowed by an amateur contest. Delicious sounding descriptions for all menu items but, unfortunately, not delicious at all. None of our party of three enjoyed their meal....it wasn't bad...just not good. Their home made bread, however, was good, the service was fine and the views were lovely. When I dine at a restaurant, the food is the most important factor, especially when we're paying top dollar.

“not worth it”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2013

Went there with several friends for a Sunday dinner. Had reservations and found the place empty at 6PM. The smell of low tide was overwhelming. All the widows and doors were open as there was no a/c. We were seated inside and the chairs were like wooden chair you would find in a school room. The menu was overprice for what they were serving. Two of our friends wanted to switch their vegatable with each other and wait person said only because it wasn't busy could it be done but don't dare to ask to switch anything on a busy night. She kept having to go back into the kitch to ask the chef about questions we had about items on the menu. The food presentation was not good. Fried chicken on the menu turned out to be a chicken cutlet. Prices were overpriced, we had annoying flies flying around in the dinning room. Would never go back again and certainly wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone.

“A "Better" Dining Experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013

A warm and friendly atmosphere, it feels like you are being served by your dear friend in her own home. The food is interesting and prepared with great care. We enjoyed curried local fish, oysters three ways, and a seafood pot pie. Our vegetarians also had selections and felt well taken care of. The space, even when full, never seems crowded. Inn Spot fills a needed space in the area -- quality dining without any scene or pretentious crowds.

“very good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2013

We tried this restaurant on Sat. night early dinner. It was not crowded so we had the restaurant to ourselves and was given all the attention from the waitress. The food was excellent and different. Chef prepared a great vegan dish very different then just veggies and it was delicious. They have a beautiful outside deck overlooking the Bay and an amazing dock in the water.
