As a Haitian American from Brooklyn NY and traveled with rooted Haitian Born family and friends - we know what good Island food tastes like............... and let me tell you........... All six of us were truly impressed with our meals and appetizers.....

The ribs were so so so so good
The pork tenderloin very good
The Rum Punch very good
The Mahi and fried shrimp - very good
The BBQ Salmon awesome
The Jerk chicken was just ok
The cute little salad was off the hook..........

And our waiter Frankie was the BEST!

I almost hate to recommend this place because it it is a well kept secret. the food is delicious, and the rum punch even better.. There is nothing to dislike about this place execept maybe limited parking

A busy, happening place all summer long. The food is excellent and the drinks, some of the best I've had. Part of the secret is fresh squeezed juice, not the lemon/lime juice in the shape of the fruit! Would definitely recommend. Try a pitcher of sangria down by the dock! Best kept secret...the tacos! BBQ ribs and scallop dish are killer! Worth it, but expect a wait, which is ok because you can sip on a fresh cocktail while you wait!

The food is great, the drinks are wonderfully delicious. Not a perfect score due to the noise level making it difficult to talk to your dining companions especially when it is crowded and a long wait for your
table

Stopped in Rumba recently for a couple of cocktails. Did not eat but the menu and food I saw looked good. The place was packed if that gives you any indication. Shared a pitcher of the Rum Punch and Rum Sangria. We were split on which we liked best. The Rum Sangria was unlike any I have had before, it was delicious. The bar was a bit crowded with waiting diners. We were able to go out on the beach bulkhead/dock they have out back. Great view with plenty of seats. There was also a shuttle to the sister restaurant Cowfish. For those wishing to travel by sea, there was a pontoon boat shuttling between restaurants as well. The drinks were strong and tasty. The bartender work that night was a bit nasty and completely unfriendly. You'd think she was working in the middle of a one horse town with no way out.
