My girlfriends and I spend the past two days at the Black Sheep Inn. A beautiful B and B very close to Keuka Lake, Hammondsport, NY. The property is unique in design-the rooms are far enough away from one another that you do not even know anyone else is there. My room was the Taylor Suite- very big and direct access to the peaceful patio/garden area. Big bathroom as well. The bed, OH MY!! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced while traveling.

I did get a massage which was set up in the wooded area behind the home. Serene setting and relaxing but on a scale from 1-10, I would rate the massage a 6. Probably the only negative.

The owners, Deb and Marc do a great job at being there when you need them for any special need/request. The breakfast was delish on both days! Close to the Lake- about a 3 minute drive to the lake and town; many great restaurants for dinner close by.

Overall, a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Rooms in front of Inn- away from others--- or the Taylor Suite if you want to spend the extra $ was worth every penny.

My Mom, sister, and I recently stayed at the Black Sheep Inn where Marc and Deb treated us like family. Their octagon home has been exquisitely restored and our room was extremely comfortable, clean, and pretty. As a former antique dealer, my Mom was thrilled to see many fine pieces throughout the house. In fact, she said that in her eighty years, this was her favorite place to stay. Marc and Deb directed us to some wineries that we wouldn't have found on our own, and they turned out to be our favorites. They also suggested some nice places to eat dinner. I devoured every bite of Deb's delicious, healthy breakfast and learned her trick to making the best coffee I've ever had. It was our first bed and breakfast experience, so I'm afraid we are now spoiled, but very happy!

What a lovely family! It was such a pleasure having you with us at the Inn. And although your visit was short, we really enjoyed getting to know you, your mom and your sister. Hopefully your travels will bring you back this way, and we'll get to see you again. All the best.

Had a girls getaway long weekend on Lake Keuka and stayed at the Black Sheep Inn, B and B.
Marc and Debbie were the most wonderful hosts. Debbie's gourmet breakfasts were creative and delicious and almost too pretty to eat. Our room was quite spacious and we had a private bath in room along with a half bath outside our door. The inn was very quiet and charming, it was fun to walk around and peruse all the antiques. Couldn't think of a more welcoming place to stay. Loved chatting with the owners.

Room Tip: Room choice depends on size in party, but all looked nice and welcoming

We always enjoy helping a group of friends make the most of their time together. Whether it's a great dinner recommendation, or some evening tea served in the ballroom, we strive to provide the ultimate setting for your getaway with friends. We enjoyed getting to know you Jean Ann, Cindy, and Brenda, and we hope to see you again soon.

The hosts, Marc and Deb, are so warm and friendly. Staying at their beautiful B&B was like staying with two old friends. Deb is a fabulous cook who prepared healthy and tasty meals. They are both very helpful as they provide information about whatever it is you want to do. The octagon home that they have refurbished is a wonderful place to enjoy. The rooms are so nice and comfortable. And there are two common areas that felt like my living room back home, only nicer. The B&B is a short drive or nice walk from the village of Hammondsport. I highly recommend the Black Sheep Inn B&B as a must for lodging in the Hammondsport area. My partner and I will definitely stay with them again.

Marc and Deb were great!! They were both so welcoming and helpful, providing us with information on restaurants, wineries and hiking trails. We went snowshoeing on a beautiful trail very near to the Inn.
They are such creative couple and this is reflected in loving restoration of the house with great design and attention to every detail. It is elegant and stately but at the same time feels very homey and cosy.
Deb is a terrific cook and the breakfasts were wonderful! We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed helping you celebrate your anniversary. And it was exciting to get to see some of your drawings and paintings too. It's always fun to have another artist visit the studio to talk about art. Thanks for staying with us and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
