Bully Hill is a winery in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The winery itself is very interesting, and the wine is quite good, but the restaurant attached to the winery is outstanding.
We enjoyed the eclectic menu. I had a BBQ sampler with beef, pork and chicken. Wonderfully smoky and tender, with two choices of sauce. A special on the day we went was a mushroom cap topped with crab cake and scallops.
The service was really wonderful. Friendly and very interested in ensuring that we enjoyed the meal. Just the right amount of attention.
The restaurant looks out over Keuka Lake and the hills surrounding it. It was a gorgeous spring day, with crab apples in bloom and tulips everywhere on the grounds.
