“A good lunch at a reasonable price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2013

I tried Titan's on a recommendation from a friend who said she had the best roast beef sandwich there. Well I have to definitely agree with her - it was the best roast beef sandwich I have had in a long time. We were warmly greeted and a waitress came right over with a menu and ice water. The interior of the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The options on the lunch menu were varied and reasonably priced. It comes with either soup, salad, pasta or french fries. My roast beef sandwich with soup was $10.00. Also, the waitress who was very nice brought over crusty bread with dipping sauce which was a nice touch. All in all I can say I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and would certainly return again for lunch or to try dinner.

“Definitely will be back”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

Took our daughter and her college friend here for dinner here. Staff was very friendly and our waitress was excellent. Lobster bisque was superb with good chunks of lobster. Salads for rest were fresh and tasty. 2 filets were cooked properly and fork tender with excellent flavor. Sides were also very good. The ravioli was also a hit. Did not do dessert. Pretzel bread and dipping sauce was also very good. We went midweek and were seated immediately. very pleasant atmosphere and peaceful. While the staff was friendly, and our service excellent, they were not that busy and some of the conversations (horse play) between other staff in restaurant and joking around (some excessive) amongst themselves took away 1 star. They were not rude, or obnoxious (just too much time on hands I think) by any means and in a lesser quality establishment would not have been out of place, but for the quality and price, would not expect it here.
Overall an excellent meal and we will definitely return again and would recommend!

“Just ok...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013 via mobile

This was a first visit and we probably will not return. Steaks were priced for an upscale restaurant. I do not mind paying for a good meal, but this was just ok. Steaks lacked seasoning and cheddar chive potatoes were not great.

“A real good surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

We stopped in Hamburg, NY on our way to Pennsylvania and we didn't know the place at all. We drove through the neighborhood and choose this place because it was a steakhouse.
A real good surprise, the service was excellent and friendly, they gave us all the time we needed to select our choice, answering all our questions with a smile. They have a very nice selection of wines and offered a good advice. The steak was cooked as ordered, very tender, well presented, and the cost was reasonable.
As we asked for direction to go back to our hotel, our server took the time to give us a useful explanation and even stepped outside with us to show us the way.
If I have another occasion to go to Hamburg I will not hesitate to go back to this restaurant and I recommend it

“Decent steakhouse”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2013

While visiting from out of town went to this restaurant for a nice dinner out. No wait for a table, but it was mid-week. Service was generally attentive, but could be taken up a notch to be more commensurate with the pricing (water should have ice, check in post-cocktails to see if we wanted wine with dinner, coffee should be offered after dinner, etc). Calamari appetizer was good - jalapeño slices added some zing to nicely prepared fried calamari. The steaks we ordered were good (1 strip, 1 filet), although slightly more medium-rare than the medium we ordered, but it was close enough for us so we didn't send back. The steak prices were reasonable compared to what we typically pay in Philadelphia area, but you do get taken on the add-on's ($4 for approx. 1/4 cup of sautéed mushrooms - really?). Entree does come with house salad or soup and 1 side (opt for the red potatoes vs. the cheddar mashed). Husband got house salad which was good and I upgraded to grilled romaine w/ blue cheese, bacon, etc. - which was great! Surprised that a steak place doesn't have asparagus nor hollandaise on the menu. Desserts were decent - i recommend the peanut butter pie. Ambiance/decor is steakhouse-dark, heavy-wood, semi-modern. The tables/booths have good spacing between them so you are not right on top of your dining neighbor.
