“Nice spot”

Good food...good atmosphere...good staff. Worth visiting and you must try their gelato...that alone makes it worth the trip.

“Rude Owner”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

The group decided to take advantage of a $20.12 three course meal at this well hidden (2 of us drove right past it - the sign is hard to read) restaurant at the intersection of RT 20 and 155. Well, it took us 90 minutes to get our food but we weren't really in a huge hurry. But when it came time to split the bill (we had asked for separate checks but the wait staff assured us it would all be figured out in the end) , she told us to figure it out. No assistance, no total recall of who had what like in so many other good restaurants. With 8 women not willing to evenly split the bill (some of us didn't have drinks, some did), it was a pain in the neck. When we asked to speak to the owner to clarify the policy he was blase and then rude. It wasn't worth saving a few dollars to eat there. Find someplace where the owner understands the word "customer".

“Very Rich”
Reviewed July 14, 2012

Really good food. The lobster mac and cheese is super rich. It is not for anyone on a diet. Delicious. The chicken Valdostana or chicken with a white wine and tomato sauce is wonderful. We really enjoyed this restaurant.

“Great presentation of very good food with fantastic service.”

Walked in with no reservations early Fri evening. Was seated (luckily), and enjoyed an excellent meal, with attentive service.

“Great food, interesting menu, Lots of Middle Eastern.”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

The chef here used to be at the Hidden Cafe in Delmar, and he brought his middle eastern recipes. You start off with a small dish of wonderful, creamy hummus, with pita triangles. Not once have we been able to resist ordering a larger serving as an appetizer. I think they know that....
For dinner, started with Portugese Clams, a dozen clams steamed in a spicy broth with slices of hot pepper. The clams were wonderful, as was the broth with some bread to soak it up. Followed with a Greek salad, fairly standard, but with lots of olives and a couple of stuffed grape leaves.

Companions had falafel, great but perhaps a bit too spiced, if that's possible. Other had the sea bass. Nice cut, done perfectly with a fruit topping.

Consistently great food, tends to get busy, and the service could be a bit more attentive. Rated very good rather than excellent for that reason.
