I recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl; and me and my partner were very exited to spend the Christmas holiday upstate with my Aunt's family in Greenville. She had mentioned the Greenville Arms was nearby, and it turned out to be a perfect place to stay; especially on baby's 1st Christmas.
We arrived Christmas Eve, and the historical house was superbly lit with lights and with tree in the window. We were given a beautiful room in a separate building across a small creek and bridge; it had an amazing fireplace and jacuzzi tub. (what else do you need?!) The fireplace warmed up the room within 5 minutes and luckily was turned on by a simple switch on the wall.
The room was large yet cozy, well decorated, bed was comfortable; and there was a sofa, great for opening up Christmas morning presents and checking out the goodies in our christmas stockings!
The breakfast was delicious; and it was good to know the dining area was open all the time with a fresh pot of coffee or tea as well as fresh fruits, homemade granola, oatmeal etc.
It was definitely a relaxing holiday; as the absence of television for a crackling fire was a very, very easy transition. As it was my daughter's 1st Christmas, I am very exited for our new annual tradition of Christmas at the Greenville Arms.More
