“Beautiful location”

This is a great place to get some ribs or a hamburger. There is a waterfront outside bar with great friendly bartenders and well made drinks. They have any and all high end drinks. Sit outside for a drink before dinner......watch the ferry from Shelter Island go back and forth. The food is wonderful......from the spicy shrimp to the Korean ribs.....it's all delicious. After you eat, have a Grand Marnier or Sambucca around the firepit to top off your evening. Most of the eating is outside, so take a sweater or jacket if the evening is cool.

“Dockside Delices”

Fresh creative lunch. Fried oyster po'boy with a light batter, tangy sauce, on a delicious soft roll. Perfectly cooked salmon BLT, tasty, too. On a rainy day, we sat at the bar with an affable and knowledgeable bar tender. She made it a fun experience. Outside deck and tables looked perfect overlooking the marina on a sunny day.

“Quaint and fun”

Great location on the water with views of Shelter Island. We went with locals so the service was extra specially attentive. Food was good, portions a bit small and pricy but hey, it is Long island and it has a great vibe!

“Pricey,but glad we tried it!”
Reviewed August 29, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I decided to try this place after hearing that is was good but expensive.i had oysters on the half shell, which you got to pick from 3 different types.$21 for 6,,,,,ridiculous as I know how much they actually cost.My husband had the fish and chips, which for something so simple, was so fresh and delicious.Needless to say,yes it's expensive we returned much later for more oysters and a burger and fries.I guess it's hit or miss according to the other reviews.

“Note to owners: hire a chef”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

The redesigned deck is lovely and our waiter was solicitous, but the food was a disaster, and unconscionably expensive. Three of us spent $120 for a shared plate of two "crab cakes" (breaded hockey pucks that must have come straight from the freezer into the fryer); rancid french fries; a "salad" made of cabbage, green peppers, iceberg lettuce and onion thrown into a cuisinart; and cod slathered in barbeque sauce (although ordered without sauce). We had one coke and two glasses of ordinary wine.
My guest summed it up: "the tartar sauce was the best thing there."
What a waste of a beautiful waterfront site.
