A very warm, cozy and inviting B & B with superb food, views and hospitality! Clay, the proprieter, makes you feel right at home - the scotch eggs are to die for! We were there for two days and relaxed enough to feel like we were away for a week. We can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: all rooms are unique and offer their own inviting atmosphere

Great little B&B. Short walk to everything but off the main streets. Breakfast at 9 is paradise... Great view... great room... great service. We traveled to Ireland, Scotland etc and never stayed in a better B&B!

Perfect for a romantic getaway. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and couldn't ask for better accomodations, location, food and hospitality. Breakfast was amazing, served on the all-season front porch overlooking the water, and the wine and cheese left for us on Saturday evening was a nice touch. Other nice touches not usually found at a b&b - cold drinks, snacks, fresh baked goodies, current movie dvds...all availabe all the time. We loved our weekend at Stirling House and the North Fork, and will most definitely be going back!

North Fork was beatiful, the wine was lovely and the room at Stirling House just perfekt. Stirling House B & B was personal, clean and romantik. We loved it! The service and breakfast were very good. Next time in Ny, Manhattan , we will go back to North Fork and Stiriling House. Dont miss Jo-Anns winetour.

Room Tip: The green room was wonderful ang very romantic!

From the moment I arrived to a more than courteous lift to the Jitney, Clay is the host you dream about: part brother, part sherpa, part concierage -- and he knows everyone so he MAKES THINGS HAPPEN - with quiet elegance. I was here for business - a very long, condensed photography schedule for my upcoming book," Long Island Homegrown" - about LI chefs and their farmers and growers, so I really relished the balance Clay provided of a bit of quiet work time and time at my local chef's restaurants, with something new to experience. Clay offer total service - but makes it look easy. Everything you need to eat and drink is provided. And his breakfast cooking is a guilty pleasure. Fresh, local fruit with yogurt that was disguised as a "sundae" and a family recipe for German Apple Pancakes that you can't say no to. The room is well appointed in sunny French yellow and blue and clean, clean, clean. The view is right out of a Monet painting. I will happily return for the book signings - and for pure enjoyment! I highly recommend you make reservations and enjoy Greenport - so much to see and do and within walking of the Stirling House to the vineyards and sports. Or just relaxing on the porch...

Room Tip: Excellent Accommodations, easy to get to
