We ate at Noah's our first night of a five day stay in Greenport. We were very pleased with the atmosphere and with the food-- the quality of everything was simply wonderful, the presentation gorgeous, the service attentive.
But the portions are VERY small for the prices they charge.
We also ate at Scrimshaw and at Vine Wine & Cafe -- restaurants at an equivalent price point, and with a similar approach to food-- and at Noah's, we spent about the same amount for about 1/3 less food per serving .
We were very happy with our meal there in terms of everything BUT the quantity. In a competitive business climate, a model where you pay the same or more and get less is simply not sustainable in the long term.
