This place is probably value for Long Island but it just wasn't what we were looking for. We were mislead by pictures on the website. The website only shows you a close-up of the pool, the pool is actually quite small. The 'resort' is depressingly like an apartment complex in a seaside setting, I did not feel like I was on 'vacation'. It rates less than any Days Inn that we've stayed in, but having said that there are probably not very many nicer places in Long Island that allow kids. Beach is pebbly and not great for building sand castles or walking barefoot. The unit that we had rented was minimally decorated. We saw one or two others and ours was actually better looking, the ac in one of the others was not even working. I thought management was OK, the guy who came in to fix a light bulb was actually friendly and told us of several places in the area we could visit.

Our 1st vacation since my 11 month was born. I took my parents too. A perfect holiday. 2 room, enogh space and a fully functional kitchen which was great for preparing dinner for our little one.

Pool was great, beach not so much. Put that is the best you are going to get on the pebbly north shore.

The bbq grills were great. Whipped up a nice meal and then ate drinner while watching the sunset. I look forward to getting back there again

We traveled with another couple and were extremely pleased with the cleanliness of our room (building C, #105), the view from our balcony, and the location of the resort as it related to touring the wineries and getting into town. We were a bit surprised that there were so many families, and unfortunatley could hear children running in the unit above us, as well as a baby crying at night. Only one bedroom had a television, and our bedroom unfortunately had the air conditioning units outside our window (a bit noisy). Litle to no art on the bedroom walls. Bathroom was spotless and so was the kitchen. Master bedroom has tub/shower; second bathroom is a stall shower. You can't beat the location, and the views of the beach were beautiful. Overall, we had a great time, and I would highly recommend this resort...but request the second floor. :-)

Thank you Tom. Another year, another great stay. Our room, 4102, was the best so far, perfect views, perfect sunsets. I miss this place everytime I leave. We were one of the first guests in this resort when it first opened. The amenities and upkeep are top notch. Fully stocked kitchen, just bring the wine. Pool, laundry facilities, free wifi, satellite TV, flast screen televisions in every room, great location in every direction.

we had three adults and 3 kids in a two bedroom unit. Although it was a tight squeeze, it worked. The unit was clean, and the kitchen, which is tiny, was functional and had a dishwasher and two burner stove. The deck overlooking the pool was lovely. It is a very nice place and everyone was very friendly. The pool was not small but not large. it closes at 7, so be warned. There is a huge lawn that the kids can play on and the resort has put Adarondack chairs out there so you can sit and watch the sunset, which is nice. There is a path down to the beach (mostly rock). Beach is clean. This is a very nice resort.

My friend and I had the good fortune to come across Joanna Lane of Property Angels and she was the best for setting up our wonderful vacation at the Cliffside Resort condos in Greenport, Long Island. Joanna also gave us tips on good restaruants in the area and we discoved Love Lane Kitchen with its award-winning meals in nearby Mattituck.
Cliffside Resort has spectacular views overlooking Long Island Sound with beautiful sunsets and the sound of waves hitting the shore if you are in one of the front units.

We stayed in B203 on the second floor. The owners of this condo had thought of everything. The decor was delightful even down to the little white china seahorse napkin holders and the beautiful duvet covers in the bedrooms. We were pampered with soaps and shampoos from L'Occitane in the fragrance of Verveine Verbena. It was sheer heaven. And the condo was immaculate with plenty of fresh towels and 2 beautiful bathrooms. There are also flat-screen T.V.s in each room, but who had time for television with so much to see and do in the Northfork area of vineyards, lighthouses and trips to Shelter Island and Sag Harbor. I must also mention the kitchenette which was adquate enough for my friend to cook dinner and breakfast. All in all a wonderful place and many happy memories.

We recently got married at Raphael Vineyard in Peconic, New York on Long Island. We had over 200 guests, many of which traveled long distances to attend the wedding. My husband and I searched the surrounding areas for a nice, clean and enjoyable hotel which could accommodate all of my guests and would not be too far from our reception. The majority of the hotels would not accept large wedding groups and most of them were not up to date nor very clean or enjoyable in any sense of the word! However……..

Luckily, we found the Cliffside Resort Condominiums in Greenport, NY! The hotel was new, clean, large, had a beautiful location and property, a large pool and beach for my guests and they were able to accommodate everyone without a problem! (I made the reservations nearly 7 months before the wedding). Best of all, it is in the heart of the wine country on Long Island, therefore it was less than a 10 minute drive to our reception and a less than a 5 minute drive to our rehearsal dinner Friday night in Greenport!

We were so pleased with the accommodations at the Cliffside resort…. each unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a large balcony. The hotel also had a new pool and beautiful large lawn which was a great place for everyone to gather on!

Best of all, the location and landscape were ideal to take our pre-wedding portrait pictures! All of our friends and family have complimented us on how gorgeous our pictures turned out which were taken on the hotel's property! I highly recommend this destination if you are looking for relaxation, proximity to the town of Greenport and local vineyards, if you have children or if you are just looking for a romantic weekend away from the city!
